The more I looked into the month of June, the more chaotic I realised the situation was. Like you say, nearly impossible to say who attacked which boat etc. Especially with U-boats being lost without having a chance to give full reports. Interesting as you say about the area being for it's moving oil slicks, were there any mine fields laid in BF15, or were they usually closer to land?
