On her 10th patrol, she is listed as having fought off an air attack with another U-boat on 28.07.43, source [Blair]. Having checked, I have not been able to identify this, but found that U107 sailed with sister boat U106 on the 28th, but the first account of attacks by air follow. U107 was attacked on July 31st in BF44 by RAF 502 Sqdn, surviving 3 depth charges and gunfire. While U106 was not attacked until August 1st in BE69 by RAF 59 Sqdn, surviving six depth charges and gunfire. Was there attack on both boats on the 28th and by whom? John
