I was trying to find some more information on Oberleutnant zur See Heinrich Niemeyer, I see from this sites information he has a birth date/location and death date, yet I can find no record of this from general searching. I have seen photos of his decorations floating around the internet (with paperwork). He may be a distant relative of mine. Any info would be helpful on either the U547 or Heinrich. Thanks!
