1WO for U.37

Good afternoon
Can anyone tell me who the 1WO for U.37 for her second war patrol in October 1939 was? I keep seeing references to two people:
Oblt. z. S. Asmus-Nicolai Clausen;
Oblt z. S. Ernst Bauer
Both appear viable from my research with both accredited in various references to service aboard the boat at that time. As a command boat for the 6th flotilla is it possible that she sailed with two 1WO's?
