About a year ago I sent two photos of Kurrer of U-189 and a copy of his memorial service conducted by the Lutheran church on behalf of his widow and two young children in late 1943. I sent them to the gummi email address. There is no reply to it or a second request four months ago. The photos never appeared on the Kurrer site. Is the gummi e mail address correspondence not monitored? I have sent other photos of U-boat captains and they seem to go into a black hole. Could an officer of U-boat net respond to me?
