Lived in Cavalla, Liberia, a little village near the Cavalla River. I was told stories that in WWII, U-Boats would send folks ashore to buy meat. They told me that one Boat was sunk just off the coast. I've never seen any record of a Boat being lost in this area. Does anyone have information.
