Norwegian Motor merchant Maloja was sunk by U-138 on 8 November, 1942. Its cargo was 1020 tons of coal and 87 aircraft.
The latter part of the cargo is particularly interesting to me.I assume, these were small training aircraft, like Tiger Moths, otherwise such hiigh number of aircraft is not possible ti transfer with such size of a ship.

Does anyone have any details on the aircraft types of this cargo?
