Hello !
In fact this is not the ceremony when Eitel-Friedrich Kentrat did received his Knight's cross. Your picture is taken on 11th September 1942, the day of the ceremony for Indienstellung U-196. Must have taken place neau AG Wesel yards in Bremen. I have other pictures taken the same day, but at the moment I don't know who is this Konteradmiral...
