The only u-boat calling at Martinique was U-156, to seek medical help for a wounded crew member.
You can read more about this when entering < Martinique > and < 156 > in the search mask on this website. Check the general discussions for all dates (not just for the last 30 days). This gives a number of hits.
No, Martinique never was a u-boat base. Some Allied ships were attacked/sunk in the area by u-boats, but they did not operate from Martinique.
