<HTML>I noticed this before, but only now thought to put it to the forum. Just as a bit of trivia, this book is about the 7 U-boat POWs executed in the US in 1945, but the photo on the cover of the book isn\'t of their graves.

Their are 14 graves of German POWs executed and buried at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. From left to right, in the last row at the Military Prison Cemetery, are first 7 German soldiers executed for two separate murders at two different camps in the US. Then comes the 7 U-boat men\'s graves (executed for the murder of a fellow POW, who had been an informer).

So the photo on the cover of the book is actually showing the 7 graves just to the left (west) of the U-boat grave sites. Inside the book, there is a photo of the 7 U-boat head stones.

Best,
Craig
