Convoy HX-156 and Tanker ANCYLUS

<HTML>Does anyone know of a documented case of a merchant ship in a convoy transmitting position information to German U-Boats? I ask this because while researching the loss of the USS Reuben James, I discovered that the Task Force Commander at the time suspected the tanker ANCYLUS was doing just that before the James was torpedoed (this is stated in an Action Report, \"Escort of Convoy HX-156,\" dated 26 November 1941.
