POWs in Kansas--new info

Above link will take you to new info on the 7 non-U-boat graves at Ft. Leavenworth. 2 separate murders of fellow POWs who had been popularly--if not secretly--charged by POW \"courts of honor\" for working with the Americans or for having anti-\"Nazi\" (in the words of the Americans) sentiments. There were similar murders documented at many camps across the US.

This serves to show what the U-boat men did was not unique. And Drechsler had in fact assisted US authorities. I would be curious if American soldiers ever felt compelled to do the same to possible US traitors in German POW camps.

Regards,
