<HTML>First, I\'m glad the jinx on this site has been fixed. I, too, had a lot of trouble here of late...as some friends mentioned recently!!!
Next, I know everyone here has different angles of U-boot interest. Technical aspects, good books, etc., etc. Me--I\'m more into personal encounters and collectables (those I can afford anyway).
In this spirit, I offer a look at some treasured mementos I\'ve acquired that some might find interesting.....

Good Hunting!!
Best always...

PS. I don\'t know how many have noticed of late, but there is a current mania of sorts in the USA, to rightfully remember our WWII vets (a war some years before my time--I\'m more recent). As we all know, WWII vets are leaving us daily--everywhere--on a large scale. New US movies...Private Ryan...now, Pearl Harbor. Soon, a major WWII memorial in Washington DC. Yet, I cannot forget either, U-boat vets are also a part of these men leaving us almost every day. And they were all good men, too. But I think it is safe to say, they will never be forgotten either...by any of us.
