<HTML>After Reading all the postings about this boat and what should or should not be done I have the following suggestion that should be presented to the owners and or preservation group.
Any money raised should go toward the purchase of a product to seal the boat from oxidation. This will preserve the steel and slow down the aging process. This product is water based and can be sprayed on. When dry the boat will have a flat black matt finish. This task can be done with a wheeled lift, paint spaying equipment and the product.
The product in question is made by several companies with different names-any paint suppy company will identify the product if you expain what you are trying to do. Oh I forgot the best part, no need to sand blast or scrap the metal, just remove large unstable rust sheets etc. This stuff reacts with the rust.....</HTML>
