Biber on TV Last Night

<HTML>SALVAGE SQUAD: 8pm
Claire Barrett and Suggs dive deep into the history of the Second World War, restoring a midget submarine used on D-Day. But it's not one of ours; it's a German 'Biber' one-man sub, designed in just eight weeks specifically to harass the Allied invasion fleet. While Claire, submarine expert Ian Clark and Portsmouth Naval Dock Yard apprentices begin the restoration, Suggs explores the history of the Biber. What he finds is not reassuring - it seems that a fatal flaw in her exhaust system meant that most Biber pilots suffocated before diving - which doesn't encourage Claire, who is keen to pilot her inaugural dive. Amazingly Suggs also manages to track down a survivor of the Biber campaign, 82-year-old Heinz Hubler, who watches as the restored craft, the only fully functioning World War Two submarine in the world, dives beneath the waves. How will she perform?
Above is a Cut and paste about the programme. I dint realise it was going to be on so missed the beginning. Maybe they should do this as an extended DVD as I would for sure buy one, and the Sub too if they make one. However check our HP Models who do this in 72nd scale or Verlinden if you want a bit bigger.
Anyone got anymore info on this one? Will they release a book on this?</HTML>
