<HTML>Have recently bought a copy of The Cruel Sea....40 plus years old but still a classic.
What was the history of the corvette which "played" Compass Rose ?
I recall reading something off her history /service but can't remember excatly what.
I believe that she served in the Indian Navy post-war and was scrapped shortly after the film was made.
if anyone can confirm this or set me right I would be delighted....can anyone say where the footage of her at sea was shot ?
