Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

a talk- show on German TV I = ARD called BECKMANN, name of ancor, was on last night having Jürgen Prochnow, Heinz Hönig, Uwe Ochsenknecht, and Jan Fedder tell the audience as to what happened to them while shooting the movie Das Boot under the “command” of Wolfgang Petersen. To bad that I could see the last fifteen only, because I probably missed the part when they mentioned the presence of U-96 Skipper L-W and other commanders like TOPP. So what I’ll try is to contact Beckmann and ask for a video-copy of the show and afterwards let you guys know what else they were talking about.
