My family was just reading one such story: Colin Simpson's *The Ship That Hunted Itself*. We had fun casting it around the dinner table a few nights ago. Have any of you read it? If a screenwriter and director could be persuaded to do that one straight-- and there's almost no reason not to-- it could win someone an Oscar or several.
