Gabor, I fact I also contacted Glenn Cauley but as I didn't had a reply until now I thought also to ask to this great forum. On Glenn's page he wrote "U-673 was a converted VIIC (not a VIIC/41) with a slotted wooden deck and without the bow life raft hatches", so maybe at this point correct deck to be used is the nautilus #72-501 ?
