Hi all! I have question bout attack U-426 in 04.01.44. During 04.01.44 U-629 was heavy damage by plane and need helt. After it U-426, U-539 and 2 minesweepers was sent for help U-629. You total right. During italian merchant navy ship was name "Palasciano". It is data from u-boat KTB. I himself have not this KTB, but receive data from. In this site many errors, so not worry about ship name.

You checked repair of the ship after that attack? Usually, if the party denies damages also the ship in repair doesn't become. And if denies, but the ship in repair becomes, hit was. Checking on repairs of the ships I find tens more hits which are denied or are simply missed in documents.
