I am trying to trace any information on my uncle's (leading seaman John Francis Bewley) wartime naval service and in particular a Motor Minesweeper that he served aboard. When I was a lad he told me that he had been aboard this vessel and it had been bombed in a canal and sunk and for this he had been awarded thirteen days survival leave.
