Following on from the helpful posts regarding Kptlt. Olaf Lubcke, I wondered if I could make a further request? My late father who was at Loch Alsh when U826 surrendered, was given by Lubcke a pennant which we have always assumed belonged to him, although we are not sure. My late father served on HMS Warspite during WW11 and I have a number of photos and other memorabilia that he gave to me. Can anyone suggest a safe home for these documents?

Thanks to the additional photographs included on uboat.net I have been able to identify the Kptlt whom my late father met during the surrender of U-826 at Loch Alsh in May 1945. Olaf Lubcke gave my father a pennant and we have a photo of him with Kptlt. Leonhard Klinspor (U-293) taken at the time.I wonder if anyone has any information on Lubcke? If so please forwarded it on.
