Hello Candice, I don't know if this is still relevant, but my father-in-law served as midshipman on HMS Holderness from March 1941 to June 1942, including the E-boat capture action. He has recently published a memoir: "A Home on The Rolling Main" by AGF Ditcham. His ships were: HMS Renown HMS Holderness HMS Reading HMS Scorpion HMS Finisterre
