I am searching for descendants of the crew of the minesweeper USS Token AM-126 just for general correspondence and sharing of stories/photos. My father was "Woody" Keller and he was chief machinist's mate aboard the USS Token. Thank you.

Hi Greg, Thank you for your posting. I have been told by many on board the Token that the commanding officer was a William Hunt, who passed away not too many years ago in Arizona. This covered the time the oOken was in the South Pacific, though I am unsure who the commander was at the end of the war. I am sure my father and your cousin were well acquainted as my dad was the Token's Chief Mac

It appears that William Hunt is deceased. Any idea what happened to his records? Are you in touch with any of his family? Thank you.

Hi. I think it would be great if you could scan your grandfathers journal so that anyone interested could read it. I think there are many surviving crew members and he descendents of those who served aboard the Token who would like to read this.

Hi James,I have never seen a written history of the Token and would also be interested in one if you find it. All I have been able to find is what is available on the internet, which is of a general nature with basic facts and figures.

On behalf of my 91 year old father who served as a chief machinists mate, I am looking for crew members he can communicate with who served aboard the U.S.S. Token AM 126 minesweeper between its launch date of 28 Mar 1942 in Chickasaw, Alabama and the end of WWII. Thank you.
