There will be a detailed account of the part played by HMS VENOMOUS (plus some unique photographs never previously published) in rescuing survivors from HMS HECKLA in a new edition of A HARD FOUGHT FOUGHT SHIP: THE STORY OF HMS VENOMOUS (1990) by Robert J Moore to be published next year. My apologies for not updating this Forum on plans to publish a new edition of Bob Moore's book (first published 1990) on HMS VENOMOUS. Bob died just over a year ago but an America naval historian, Captain John Rodgaard, has agreed to take over and it is expected hat the new edition will be published next year. John is of Anglo-Danish descent and a published author. It is still possible
