Norwegian Motor merchant Maloja was sunk by U-138 on 8 November, 1942. Its cargo was 1020 tons of coal and 87 aircraft. The latter part of the cargo is particularly interesting to me.I assume, these were small training aircraft, like Tiger Moths, otherwise such hiigh number of aircraft is not possible ti transfer with such size of a ship. Gentlemen, Anyone knows the details of the deck cargo of Empire Heritage, sunk by U-482 on 8 September, 1944? I know, that there was a number of Sherman tanks and larger trucks on the deck, but is there any details, precise numbers on them? Thank you, Csaba

Gentlemen, If I remember correctly, it was written an article in a naval history journal (maybe in the '70's) about the British submarine operations in the Adriatic Sea. Is there anyone, who has this material? TIA, Csaba
