Looking at some of the ships sunk by WWI Uboats, there seemed to be a few really close to American shores. Were any WWI uboats lost in American waters? Are there any good, non-fiction books on the WWI submarines in American waters? Thanks.

Good question. There are wrecks in the Gulf of Maine that are listed as WWI wrecks. I assumed it was uboats that sank them. Were there any wwi uboats sunk in Canadian waters?
