As a note to my previous message(s), I'm writing a history of U-864/Venturer for a major publisher. There have been two previous books in Germany and a documentary that are full of sensational stories of enriched uranium, heavy water, dirty bombs and so forth. These have propagated throughout the mass media. I am including only hard factual data in my book and would be tremendously grateful

Thanks. There's a fine Norwegian newspaper called Bergens Tidende that has very up-to-date articles on the salvage. I've found the Google translation tool does a fair job of making the pieces understandable to those of us who don't speak the language. The paper's website is:
