Well, it was worth a shot. The only thing about this story that made it persuasive was that it was in a major newspaper, The Boston Globe, and that the story reoccurred. If I have read it in the National Enquirer, or similar rag, I would not give it credibility. I am surprised nobody here never heard about the story though.

Greetings. Newbie here, and I have a query. When I was a kid in the 60's, I recall a recurring story in the Boston Globe, no doubt syndicated, about a U-Boat that was floating about 20 feet or so below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico, or the Carribean Sea.
