I am of the understanding that at the beginning of the war U-boat bells were removed from boats to prevent detection. I hear a number of these bells are still in existence. I haven't seen any for sale but had hoped somebody would know something of them or if they know of any that are for sale? If not, how much I can expect to pay for one, should it come on the open market? Cheers.
