My interest is landing craft especially landing craft tank (LCT) and while researching I've found several references (including on the original drawings) to KM and DKM steel but I can't find specifications with these initials. This steel is used for the sides and top plating but only above the waterline - MS was used below the waterline. Original Admiralty and shipyard correspondence
