yes, April 1 1933 thank you! It has been quite the source of frustration as in my search as I am well aware of the proper way to file a date. Somehow in my stubborn mind I have yet to utilize the respected and correct way. So if can help me find a resource to obtain all the names of of CREW 33 it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my post and taking the time to respond. Regards FG

Please can anyone explain what positions are taken by designated crew on watch. ie. Is the WO forward-red or forward-green and the CPO is where? The aft-green and aft-red lookouts are self explanatory. However, could you include how the deck watch abandon the bridge on crash dive, I've tried to research but I find conflicting reports on their responsibilities once dive is initiated. Thank y

Hello evertyobody!!! I wonder if anyone can solve sort of a mystery for me as the type IXB is kind of the bastard child of U-boats. Could you inform me of the tower configuration and weapons available for Kptlt. Hardegen boat when it “visited” the Eastern Sea Frontier of the U.S. in Jan 1942. It is difficult to find early photos of this boat but what I can surmise: the main gun being 105MM. T
