Ciao Thorsten, i thought the same,just one more question,in Hezlet they say not 1200 yards but 1800 yards,the information should come from the same sources? I read also on the Marinearchiv,that the A and the B Position during this attack are the same and that it's quite rare.Thanks for your help Greetings Nap

Ciao Thorsten, thanks again,but maybe you can help me too with another typo. I tried to contact already the moderator,but i think he's quite busy with mails. During the attack of HMS Turbulent on the german steamer "Bengasi" on 11.11.1942 is written that he shot two torpedoes from 1200 hours,is this a direction or it is more like 1200 yards? Greetings Nap

Hello to all, Just read in the War Diary of Captain U-Boats,Italy that the german steamer "Favoer" loaded acoustic torpedoes for Cagliari,it's from the 21.11.1942.For what i know the germans started with this kind of weapon in march 1943.Anybody knows more about that?
