I'll be donating the auction funds realizded to the proposed WW2 Merchant Marine Seaman's Memorial on the Bay Islands (Roatan Honduras). A lot of those men stood their last watch with their cousins from Cayman in the busy waters of the Caribbean

I searched here and read the TOS, hope this is proper to ask and right place! I am going to put a documentable provenance original U-505 anchor chain link on eBay for sale. They used to sell them in the gift shop until the early 1960's. I bought a 1/2 link piece and it is marked with U-505. They also sold full links mounted on a wooden stand. Oh, if I only had a brain!
