Included in HMS Thrasher's 13th Patrol report 6th - 28th October 1942 is an attack to which the identity of the targets is not recorded. 25th October 1942 03:40 in position 3606N2515Esighted 2 merchant ships (3,000 tons) and 3 destroyers. Altered course towards. 04:22 fired 4 torpedoes on a 140 degree track, range 5000 yards. All torpedoes missed. The tracks were seen and 2 destroyers
