Hello- I was looking at some information for the first officers at Grizedale POW Camp. I have some information and a couple of questions. October 1939 – officers of U-39, commanded by Korvettenkapitän Gerhard Glattes and U-27, commanded by Kapitänleutnant Johannes Franz. Q - were there 4 officers on each of these 2 U-boats? 21 November 1939 – twenty-one officers – mostly from U-boats.
