Looking for information about my cousin Werner Eckardt, born 21/04/1922,Hammerstedt,Thuringia Germany. Died 22/05/1995; Machinist on a Monsoon boat U-198 ? Apparently was on an extended cruise in the Indian Ocean, May have received his training on U-37 and possibly sortied with her. Any information would be much appreciated.
