UBoot 1278 was destroyed by British HMS Baynton in North Atlantik on Feb. 17, 1945 at 61 degree 32'N and 01 degree 36'W.

Just curious if any survivors who were on the HMS Baynton and 'Loch Eck' on Feb. 17, 1945 at 61 degree32'N and 01 degree36'W who caused U-Boot 1278 fatality on which my father was on. I have document to prove above from British occupied Northern Germany sent to my mother on 5.9. 1947.

i do not find Kriegsmarine doctor for U-1278 where my father served on as Obermaschinist.
