As stated by countless others, it is a poor excuse as far as authenticity is involved, but it is pretty good Hollywood schlock entertainment. The 2 things I like best about the movie are the Uboot interiors, and, my favourite, the chief admitting "those Krauts sure can build a boot" as the tiefenmesser needle goes off the scale. James
