Summary

A U-boat plays a minor role in this all-star action film based on the true story of a World War II secret mission to destroy German radio ships in a neutral Indian harbor. British Intelligence officers, supported by volunteers formerly (now retired) from the Calcutta Light Horse, use disguise and deception to blow up the ships which are feeding instructions and coordinates to U-boats prowling off the India coast.

Notes

This film is dedicated to Earl Mountbatten (former viceroy of India and honorary commander of the Calcutta Light Horse), victim of a 1979 IRA bombing. Based on a 1978 book.
