This section was opened to all uboat.net visitors having previously been exclusive to the Conning Tower.

Added 3 new functions to the patrol pages; Events during the patrol, Attacks on the boat and finally Men Lost during the patrol. This gives a much clearer view of the patrol and events during it.

Opened our new "Prior patrols of U_boat commanders" database. You can access this information from any U-boat patrol page (if we have information on that patrol). There you should see the commander for the patrol and each known officer (and his role, like IWO).

Opened the huge Daily positions project within these patrol pages. Right now the database consists of 129059 entries of which 114115 have full daily positions (lat, long). They are linked from all U-boat patrols, search pages and elsewhere where they can be of assistance. The positions are always shown as a "map" link where you can find details on the patrol in question.
Example: Patrols of U-99. From that page you can, for example, see the successful 3rd patrol for the boat.
