1940

15 Nov 1940. U-65 captured the second officer of the British cargo liner Kohinur after sinking her.

16 Nov 1940. U-65 After sinking the British merchantman Fabian U-65 provided medical aid to two of the survivors, and food and water to the rest.

11 Dec 1940. A memorable day in U-boat history: U-65 was the first U-boat to cross the Equator, in Grid FC 39.
