Published the article The loss of U 325, U 400 and U 1021 by Dr. Axel Niestlé. This article explains the loss of this boat. - Sunk 30 March, 1945 in the Minch Channel (Hebrides), in position 58.19N, 05.31W, by depth charges from the British frigates HMS Rupert and HMS Conn.

Notes. This attack actually resulted in the sinking of U-965.

Men lost from U-boats
Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-1021 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
