Scuttled at 0700hrs on 3 May, 1945 near Hamburg, position not known. Wreck broken up.

This boat had a faulty construction and was assigned to training and experimental purposes only. She had a double propeller fitted (one reverse).

Men lost from U-boats

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2504 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
