Damaged in December 1944 in the Baltic Sea by a mine.

Sunk 17 Jan, 1945 in Dock 111, Hamburg, by bombs while damaged sections were being replaced. Wreck broken up.

Men lost from U-boats

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2515 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
