Sunk 31 Dec, 1944 at Hamburg, by bombs. Raised in January 1945. Sunk again during air attacks on Dock V on 17 Jan, 1945 and 20 Feb, 1945 (?). Wreck broken up.

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2530 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
