General notes on this boat
12 Nov 1942. On 12 November 1942, U-336 collided with the escort minesweeper M 1906 in the North Sea. The U-boat was damaged and had to return to base.
Men lost from U-boats
Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-336 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
