I do understand your explanation, I just skipped some steps in my reasoning.
So do not worry, you have explained it crystalclear to me.

The radar-comparison was probably a bit too much. However I learned again. I always thought the German army underestimated the radar system, but it was confined to the kriegsmarine. This makes me wonder however, if the luftwaffe did use radar and were sure about the advantages, why did they not communicate this to the kriegsmarine.
