U-BOAT HELPED NAZIS TO ESCAPE?

<HTML>I am new to this forum, so apologize if this has come up before. As a teenager, I recall reading a book that alleged a UBoat had helped Hitler, and possibly some other high-ranking Nazis, escape to South America. As I recall, it was written by an actual commander of this boat. Can anyone elaborate on this subject or the final actual destiny of that UBoat?</HTML>
