Long time no hear.

I noticed on combinedfleet.com that several Japanese radars are listed as using Magnetrons, and in the 10cm wavelength (Esp note the Type 22, operational from 9/44 onwards on ships/subs).

From what I understand from your past posts, the magnetron was an English invention that Germany never caught onto to. How did the Japanese get it? Independent invention? Reverse engineering from a captured ship/plane?
